Paper alert! Stimulant effects on cortical thickness

Zarah’s first paper was published, entitled “Stimulant medication use and apparent cortical thickness development in attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder: a prospective longitudinal study”. This study evaluated the relation between regional cortical thickness and long-term medication use in adolescents and adults with ADHD. The results provide no evidence for medication effects on cortical thickness development, but do show age-related differences in cortical thickness, in line with literature on typical cortical development.
